Crash Near Dunsmuir Ends With Minor Injuries, Car Fire
News sources report, a man suffered minor injuries Tuesday in a crash that ended with a significant vehicle fire near Dunsmuir. According to the California Highway Patrol, shortly after 3 p.m., a 1974 Corvette was traveling on Interstate 5 north of Dunsmuir when it sideswiped a 2006 Saturn in a southbound lane. Two Children, Five Others Hurt in Head-on Crash in Salinas
Seven people, including two children, were injured Monday afternoon in a head-on crash in Salinas, report media sources . According to the California Highway Patrol, at about 1:40 p.m. the collision occurred on Alisal Road just north of Hartnel Road when, for unknown reasons, a Volkswagen Jetta carrying two people deviated from it’s path on northbound Alisal into the path of an oncoming southbound Ford Explorer that was carrying five people including two children. At Least One Dead, One Injured in Burney Area Crash
News sources report, at least one person is dead after a head-on collision Friday between two vehicles on Highway 299 near Burney in Shasta County. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a minivan and a pickup and occurred just west of the Pit 1 Grade. Continue reading
